Who should register?

All families who have children grades (Kindergarten through 12th grade) should register using the Holy Saints ACC Family Registration form. This includes families who have children in Catholic schools.

Who is a part of our Holy Saints ACC?

We are blessed to be led by Fr. Matthew Crane, and Fr. James Statz. The 5 parishes include St. Wendelin - Luxemburg, Holy Cross - Marty, St. Nicholas - Watkins, St. Anne’s - Kimball, St. Mary Help of Christians - St. Augusta.

When you say Family Faith Formation, what specifically is this?

Family Faith Formation is a catechesis program provided by the Holy Saints ACC for children (1st grade through twelve grade). The program is centered around helping children and their families grow in their faith through intentional encounters with the Holy Trinity and Catholic community. It will include large group speakers for the whole family, classroom time, and at home activities to help educate and empower families to live out their faith.

Who attends Family Faith Formation?

All families and students grades 1st Grade through 12th Grade are welcome to attend from our Holy Saints ACC. We recognize that many families utilize the already built in faith formation within their Catholic School education and may opt out from sending their children to additional catechesis programs such as our Family Faith Formation program. We want to affirm all families are welcome to join us for Family Faith Formation. *See Sacramental Prep questions for specifics*

What is the Family Faith Formation registration fee?

The registration fee is $30 per child, up to 3 children. The max amount a family will be required to pay for Family Faith Formation will be $90. There is an additional Sacramental fee for students in Sacramental Prep years.

Where do I send my Family Faith Formation registration fee?

All Family Faith Formation registration fees (cash or check) can be placed in an envelope with clearly labeled (Family Name)  Registration Fee, and placed in an offertory basket at specific parish or mailed or dropped off to St. Mary’s Help of Christian Catholic Church:24588 Co Rd 7, St Augusta, MN 56301 or else can be brought to the parent meeting on September 15th.

What about the Sacraments of Confirmation & First Communion / Reconciliation?

There is a Sacramental Fee of $20 (this is not the same as Faith Formation fee). Sacramental fees will be collected at a later date.

Sacrament of First Holy Communion & Reconciliation: Students who are enrolled in Catholic school will receive their preparation from their classroom teacher. Students who do not attend Catholic school, will receive their preparation from Family Faith Formation classes and at home resources. There will be a First Reconciliation retreat this fall (Date & Location To be Determined) and a First Holy Communion retreat in the spring. All students, those in Catholic schools and in Family Faith Formation classes, will be required to attend those retreats.

Sacrament of Confirmation: Confirmation will be a one year program this year for tenth grade students and those 11th grade students who did not receive the sacrament last spring. Confirmation preparation class will be held for sure once a month. There will be a retreat provided by Holy Saints ACC. Students are required by the Diocese to attend at least one retreat experience and select a sponsor.

Where do we meet for Family Faith Formation?

Family Faith Formation will meet at a central and consistent location. Those details are still in the process of being finalized by the ACC. We will put out an update as soon as a decision is made.

When does Family Faith Formation begin?

There will be a Family Faith Formation Parent meeting held September 15th at 7 pm. There will be a Holy Saints ACC wide social gathering afterwards.

Our program will officially begin the first Wednesday of October!

What happens if Family Faith Formation & Catholic Schools are shut down again due to public health concerns?

Family Faith Formation is designed to be implemented at home. Thanks to technology, we will be able to provide additional support for families virtually. At home resources will be mailed out or available for pick up, if we are unable to meet in person. We are praying we will be able to be in the community this year without restrictions.

What if my family does not feel comfortable doing in person Family Faith Formation this year due to health concerns?

Please let us know if you need any accommodations. We want to respect the health decisions of our families.
