Faith Formation Location Change March 23! Confesstival at SMHOC!
Confesstival *Week 3 on March 23rd
What is a Confesstival?
There will be all day confession opportunities with many priests from around the area including our own. Adoration and music will also be going on in the church! There will be an Examination of Conscience guide for both adults and youth. There will be family activities too!
Where is the Confesstival taking Place?
St. Mary Help of Christians is hosting and is located at 24588 Co Rd 7, St Augusta, MN 56301. Faith Formation will be held at St. Mary Help of Christians church, dining hall and school gym to accommodate the Confesstival *see details below*.
When is the Confesstival taking place?
The Confesstival will take place from 8 am – 8 pm. Family Faith Formation activities will start at 6:30 – 7:45 pm which includes families attending Reconciliation.
How will Faith Formation & Families be a part of the Confesstival?
Faith Formation will be held at St. Mary Help of Christian Campus. Families of 1 st- 7th graders should meet in the St. Mary HOC Dining Hall at 6: 30 pm. Announcements will be made before different activities begin!
1st Grade and Younger children can spend time in the Children’s Activity room where they can color, play, do crafts while older siblings and parents have an opportunity to go to Reconciliation & Adoration!
2nd Graders will have class in the Conference room and have an opportunity to go to Reconciliation!
3rd – 7th Grade Families will hear a short presentation by Kelli & then have an opportunity to go to Reconciliation & Adoration. Then are welcome back to the dining hall for Saint Bingo & Prizes, a social and fellowship time!
Students Grades 8th – 12th grade should meet at the St. Mary Help of Christian School Gym (Follow Signs) to hear from speaker Anne Marschel! Anne works for ELEVATE and will be giving a H.E.A.R.T. Presentation from 6:30 – 7:30! At 7:30 students will be walked over to the church and be given the opportunity to go to Reconciliation & Adoration. All students should be picked up at the St. Mary’s HOC Church.
The Confesstival is an opportunity for families to encounter Jesus and His church with a night of celebrating God’s mercy and Christian fellowship!
