Hello Families,
We are so excited to welcome everyone back to Holy Cross for our Holy Saints ACC’s collaborative family faith formation! All 1st – 10th graders begin programming Wednesday night and there is an informative parent session too.This email should answer any start up questions.
Wednesday, September 20th – Family Faith Formation 1st Gathering

Meal begins at 5:30 – 6:10 pm in the cafeteria/lower part of the gym.

Childcare: On the above form there is an option to sign up children, Kindergarten and younger, to attend childcare with Miss Julie. It will be in the East Wing Library. Please use the above link to let us know if any younger siblings will be needing care while parents attend their session.
Entrance: The East Door will be unlocked and used as our main entrance for Faith Formation.
Parking: There is parking between the Lodge bar and school, street, west side of school, and field between the cemetery & baseball field.
Check in Time for programming: 6:15 pm & Check Out time: 8:00 pm!
Primary Age Check In: 1st – 6th grade students will be assigned to a particular ROOM COLOR. Rooms will be grouped as follows: 1st & 2nd Grade, 3rd & 4th Grade, 4th & 5th Grade, 5th & 6th grade. Student names & room assignments will be viewable on a large poster board in the WEST wing!
Secondary Age Check in: 7th – 10th grade students will make a name tag and then find their small group leader row in the large part of the gym. Groups will be posted and leaders’ rows will be marked.
Parent Meeting Check in: Parents will meet in the church at 6:15 pm. There will be a reflection prompt to fill out when you arrive in the church. The meeting will begin roughly at 6:30 once Kelli has the large group settled and rotations begin!
Registration: All students should be registered, the link will be closed after today. We strongly desire to have everyone assigned to rooms/groups BEFORE Wednesday night.

Attached is our Family Faith Formation calendar. Please note it is two pages. There is basic information on how to stay connected too. We just received our Confirmation date. We do not select the date, it is given to us. Please note there are additional non mandatory activities listed in BLUE. Those are family/teen events put on the Diocese we wanted to get on your calendar if you desire to go. Please sign up for text reminders!
Payment: $30 per student/ $90 family cap. Cash or checks written out to SMHOC can either be placed in a labeled envelope. Mary will have a table labeled registration in the main gym space to drop off.
Sunday, September 24th: 7 – 12th Grade NET retreat after 10 am Mass until 4:30 pm at St. Wendelin. Check in at the Mary Center (south wing of school) at 11 am. We want all our secondary students in Faith Formation to attend, 11th & 12th graders are welcome to attend! This retreat experience does count towards this year’s Confirmation class’s retreat requirement. There is no fee and students will sign in when they arrive. If your child can’t attend, please email Kelli.
